Greetings my MAD COOL FITNESS CREW and Happy Monday!
It’s been a minute since my last post. This is due to an incredibly busy time for me. The school semester is ending; production season is ending…there is truly a lot going on, which is activated me to write today’s post.
Although it has been incredibly busy, I have not fallen off the fitness wagon. Quite the opposite. I use my workouts as an opportunity to center myself, get energized so I can deal with whatever cray cray comes my way during the day.
That said, with less sleep (which is just how it’s gonna be for the next 30 days) I can’t hit every workout like Zulu Warrior Princess….instead I gotta listen to what my body is telling me. And sometimes it says…”Slow down Bessie”.
I do think in stressful times it is especially important to maintain your workouts, not only for an emotional and physical release but also so you stay in the habit of working out, keep reserving the time in your schedule.
For all you who may also be going through a busy and/or stressful time…
DON’T FALL IN THE ALL OR NOTHING TRICK BAG!
Something really is better than nothing in this case.
Do what you can do. Make the time, even if it’s just 10 minutes. Don’t beat yourself up. Stay committed and consistent.
This fitness thing is a long road. Sometimes the wind is at your back. Sometimes it’s in your face, knockin’ you upside the head. The point is to always keep moving forward NO MATTER WHAT.
Go get ’em.
