WHAT IS FITNESS?

Fitness is “the state or condition of being physically sound and healthy, especially as the result of exercise and proper nutrition.”

WHAT IS FLOW?

In positive psychology, Flow, also known as Zone, is the mental state of operation in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by complete absorption in what one does…flow is completely focused motivation. It is a single-minded immersion and represents perhaps the ultimate experience in harnessing the emotions in the service of performing and learning.

In flow, the emotions are not just contained and channelled, but positive, energized, and aligned with the task at hand. The hallmark of flow is a feeling of spontaneous joy, even rapture, while performing a task, although flow is also described as a deep focus on nothing but the activity – not even oneself or one’s emotions.

Through our content and programs, the goal is to help you develop the healthy lifestyle skills you need to develop your own dynamic wellness system that will enable you to sustain long-term healthy living. YOU are at the center of this process, developing your own dynamic wellness system that will give you the empowerment you need to activate your own inherent MAD COOL FITNESS.

Core to this process is: WORK.

Yes the “W” word. You can only achieve MAD COOL FITNESS through the work you do on yourself, through assessment, thoughts and actions. It is in the process of doing work where you build not only physical fitness but also inner strength around your emotions and behavior to activate Your Flow.

Once Your Flow is activated it will permeate every single aspect of your life. You cannot contain the FLOW! There are no short cuts to this process because the power comes from YOU, inherent to you, developed by YOU, for YOU. This is why you must LEARN TO LOVE THE WORK!
